We participate in the Northern Virginia Swimming League (NVSL), and are in Division 14.
The Brookfield Swim Team is open to all members of the Brookfield Swim Club. Swimmers must be at least 4 years of age, prior to June 1 of the current year. Swimmers may swim through the summer of their 18th birthday or after their first year of college, whichever comes first. 2018 Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach
The Brookfield Swim Team is thrilled to announce the hiring of Claire Kenna as the new head coach for the 2018 summer season! Ms. Kenna began her swimming career as a Brookfield Breaker, has instructed swimmers at beginning/competitive levels and continues to swim at St. Vincent College. We will enthusiastically welcome Claire back to the Brookfield Swim Team family this summer!
The Breakers will also welcome a new assistant head coach this summer. David Amezcua was a year-round swim coach in Texas before moving to our area last year to become an assistant swim coach of a NCAA Division III team, Gallaudet University. With the summer off from his full time coaching responsibilities, Mr. Amezcua will be poolside at Brookfield assisting Claire and learning the traditions that make our swim team great!
